A ministry, by definition, is a function, act or service directed at a specific purpose, and at Grace our church ministries deal strictly with the welfare of others. They are managed by various `executive' committees and are executed by various `working' committees (which can be the same group of folks). These working committees all get the job done through volunteer participation by Grace members.
Our church ministries exist for one reason only - to spread the word of God through outreach and benevolence to others of God's children around us. At Grace Presbyterian we start with the local community and carry the message as far as we can to the world outside. We do this through word, deed, and giving to those in need of spiritual, physical, and emotional help.
These are a number of the key Grace Ministries
"When he had washed their feet and put on his clothes again he went back to the table. 'Do you understand' he said 'what I have done to you? You call me Master and Lord, and rightly; so I am. If I then, the Lord and Master, have washed your feet, you should wash each other's feet. I have given you an example so that you may copy what I have done to you'."
John 13:1-15
This is ministering to another in it's truest form.
