To introduce the new Care Group Ministry to the congregation, each group was separately `Blessed' in person by Reverend Salmon.  The first Care Group blessing was Care Group 9 and it was formally introduced and blessed by Reverend Salmon on Sunday, September 28th, 2003, at the Contemporary Service.  Part of the ceremony was lighting candles of love, life, and Christianity by all group members.  .  Facilitators for Group 9 were Jamie Vallareal and Monica DeKoch.  Over the following months, all 14 Care Groups were introduced in the same way (go to above pages).
