Grace Presbyterian Women (GPW)

WANT YOU !!

What is GPW? It's a group dedicated to nurturing faith, bonding all women of the church, and building an inclusive, caring community that strengthens Grace Presbyterian Church. Some of the activities of this group include monthly PW Team meeting, Circle meetings, Beacons of Light ministry, Bible study groups, Outreach ministry, prayer groups, 2nd Sunday Church wide fellowship luncheon, holiday decorating in the sanctuary, and several special events throughout the year. All women at Grace Presbyterian are invited to become involved with the Presbyterian Women. These groups are always open to new members and guests.

Grace "Presbyterian Women" are divided into the three `Circles' below and a fourth group, "Beacons of Light". These Circles share the responsibility for duties associated with `Youth for Christ' and the `Bake Sale'. Circle structure, meeting schedule, and other duties are mentioned on the Circle pages. Circle members support bereavement meals and Bake Sales. Each circle provides refreshments for Youth for Christ as designated. Circles collect offerings for Sunshine Fund (cards, flowers, etc within circle), Free Will Offerings to meet Presbyterian Women annual budget. Least Coin Offering is collected and contributed once a year to Church Women United Mission Work.

The governing body of the Grace Presbyterian Women is the "Coordinating Team". The team meets the first Tuesday of each month in the Conference Room. Visitors are welcome.

GPW Team budget supports bereavement meals, Church Women United Least Coin, General Meeting Programs, Kitchen Clean Up, Literature, Love Gifts to Church Secretary, Head Nursery Attendant, Nursery Attendants, and Kitchen Help, Bibles for 3rd Graders, High School Graduation Gifts, Youth Groups, CWU Neighborhood Center Party, Presbyterian Women for Mission Presbytery, and Beacons of Light.
